Curated by ArtExtasia, a group founded in 2013, the festival presents an outstanding selection of feature-length and short films that depict eroticism as a refined tool for contemplation, deep self-knowledge, and accelerated inner transformation on the path from the profane to the sacred, from the culture of death to the culture of life. Each work is selected for its ability to express beauty and the sacred, celebrating the sublime Eros as a path to spiritual awakening.
To enrich our understanding of the films and their themes, the program will include discussions and interviews with artists who have experience with both tantra and the sublime erotic arts and who participated in the creation of selected films. They will offer us a glimpse behind the scenes of this sacred work. These interviews aim to deepen understanding and enhance the consciousness-expanding effect of the festival experience.
